This is the former Yankee Candle compound built by Michael Kittredge II: roughly 120,000 square feet across five residences, with eighteen bedrooms and sixteen fireplaces, all behind a single private gate.
When the weather turns or the schedule clears, you never have to leave. The Spa spans approximately 55,000 square feet and contains an indoor water park with a grotto and waterfall, a private bowling alley, a two-story arcade, an indoor sport court, and fitness spaces. The Main House adds a home theater, two wine cellars, and an old-world pub. It is the rare home base that competes with the itinerary, and on some days quietly wins.
