Eighteen bedrooms across the estate’s five residences provide overnight accommodations for approximately 50 guests. The Lodge is one of those residences, with five king suites and 5.5 baths.
Mornings start in one kitchen instead of five hotel lobbies. You plan the day over coffee at the island, head to the fairgrounds as a group, and gather again at night without anyone peeling off to a separate property. The former Yankee Candle compound was designed as a private playground, and after a day on the midway the group has the run of The Spa: a two-story arcade, a private bowling alley, an indoor sport court, and fitness spaces. The Main House has a home theater for the kids to wind down in.
When the evening calls for something slower, The Spa also contains an indoor water park with a grotto and waterfall, while the Main House offers an old-world pub and two wine cellars. It is the rare lodging where the property itself becomes part of the trip, not just somewhere to sleep between days at The Big E.
